Anthony Jeffery Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Thomson's Anthony Jeffery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jeffery rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. Those 234 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Jeffery must have Glenn Hills's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Jeffery picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Spartans duked it out back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best Effort from A'merre Williams Leads Burke County over Josey
On Friday, Burke County got the W thanks in part to A'Merre Williams playing the best football he has all season. Williams rushed for 148 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Burke County pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Williams and Burke County will square off against Glenn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jaris Sinkfield Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Thomson got the W thanks in part to Jaris Sinkfield playing the best football he has all season. Sinkfield picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run
For the year, Sinkfield has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 55.7 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.5 receiving yards per game.

Cordarius Free Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Cordarius Free produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Burke County to the win on Friday. Free rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Free has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 21.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.33 rushing yards per game.

Vandiver Came Up Big in Burke County's 56-12 Victory
Another Burke County player making an appearance on this list is Sean Vandiver. He rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 43 yards and a touchdown.
