Fonda-Fultonville is 7-1 against Canajoharie since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. On Wednesday, Fonda-Fultonville got the win against Duanesburg by a conclusive 12-4. Considering the Valley Hawks have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Grace Furnare made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. Furnare was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Taylre Watterson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Harper Huckans, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Fonda-Fultonville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canajoharie). They skirted past Johnstown 13-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since May 4, 2024.
Fonda-Fultonville pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Canajoharie, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.
