Aiden Lawlor put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Lawlor's strong effort led King's Christian over The Pilgrim Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights are 8-2 against the Pioneers going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
