Ezell-Harding Christian took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 98-49 victory over Dayspring Academy. Considering Ezell-Harding Christian has won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
When it comes to explaining why Dayspring Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is John-Michael Martin. Despite the final result, he scored 33 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Martin scored a full 67.3% of Dayspring Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Jackson, who scored 12 points.
Ezell-Harding Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dayspring Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ezell-Harding Christian will take on Nashville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dayspring Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount Juliet Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Mount Juliet Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
