Foothill has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Centennial Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Foothill faced the Mountain Lions in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Foothill came out on top against the Mountain Lions by a score of 78-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, even though Spring Valley scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, Centennial still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, Centennial made off with a 60-59 win over the Grizzlies.
Foothill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Centennial, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.
Foothill might still be hurting after the 74-52 defeat they got from the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Foothill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
