Lynn Classical has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Medford Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Lynn Classical made off with a 34-33 victory over Revere.
Meanwhile, Medford had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Sunday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-25 victory over Somerville.
The victory got Lynn Classical back to even at 2-2. As for Medford, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Lynn Classical strolled past Medford in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 42-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lynn Classical since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
