The Laurel Panthers can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They blew past Christian Academy of Madison 62-32 on the road. That looming 62-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Laurel yet this season.
Laurel found their leader in underclassman Brayden Gerrian, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gerrian has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic James, who scored 15 points.
Laurel has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Christian Academy of Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Laurel will look to defend their home court on Friday against Heartland Christian at 7:00 p.m. As for Christian Academy of Madison, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
