After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Handley, Dadeville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Beulah Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 28-12. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 28-14 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Dadeville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corde Jefferson, who rushed for 150 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also picked up 134 receiving yards. Those 150 rushing yards gave Jefferson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Davis McKelvey, who rushed for 42 yards and a pair of TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dadeville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 271 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beulah only rushed for 110 rushing yards.

Dadeville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Beulah, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
Dadeville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-34 defeat against Randolph County on the 12th. As for Beulah, they have also already played their next matchup, a 70-16 loss against Lee-Scott Academy on the 12th.
