The Loachapoka Indians were the 55-48 winner over the Beauregard Hornets when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Loachapoka took a hard 59-45 fall against Beauregard on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Loachapoka still got an impressive performance from Chris Lipscomb, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lamar Finley, who scored 6 points.
Loachapoka's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Loachapoka will head out on the road to face off against Lanett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beauregard, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wadley at 5:00 p.m.
