  Duncan Bell was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 118 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 169 yards and two touchdowns. Those 118  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
  Khris Hermosillo and  Cashton Young certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Hermosillo gained 216 total yards and three touchdowns, while  Young rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown. With that strong performance,  Hermosillo is now averaging an impressive 100.9  rushing yards per game.
 Hoxie's record now sits at 11-0. As for Wichita County,  with the  defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.
 Hoxie will head out to  square off against South Central  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. South Central is on a six-game streak of home wins, Hoxie a eight-game streak of away wins  (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Wichita County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
