Lone Peak won the last time they faced Herriman and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

Ava Burgess paced Lone Peak's offense, picking up 12 kills. Burgess got some help from Nevaeh Tien and her 22 assists. Finally, Burgess was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Herriman, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lone Peak will head out to take on Orem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Herriman, they will venture away from home to challenge Riverton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
