Despite the loss, Florence still got an impressive performance from Logan Stenson, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Stenson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last nine games he's played. Anthony Bradeen was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American Leadership Academy - Ironwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Chapman, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Chapman has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Coplin, who scored 22 points.
Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for American Leadership Academy - Ironwood, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.
Florence will look to defend their home court on Friday against American Leadership Academy - Anthem South at 7:00 p.m. American Leadership Academy - Anthem South is coming into the game with eight straight losses on the road, meaning Florence will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for American Leadership Academy - Ironwood, they will take on Coolidge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American Leadership Academy - Ironwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 22 matchups -- so hopefully Coolidge likes a good challenge.
