Despite the loss, Cranston East still got an impressive performance from Mya Jiminez, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Rachael Yalartai, who scored eight points.
Shea pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Cranston East, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.
Shea will be home for the holidays to greet Mt. Pleasant at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cranston East, they will head out on the road to face off against Coventry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
