Tree of Life Christian is a perfect 4-0 against Northside Christian since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Tree of Life Christian gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over Madison Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Trojans have posted against the Eagles since May 13, 2021.

Eli Vascura was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Tree of Life Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Brown, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Tree of Life Christian is undefeated when Brown posts two or more stolen bases, but 2-3 otherwise. Shep Cradic also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Tree of Life Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Northside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-5 to Genoa Christian Academy.
Jonathan Peterson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Braden Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Tree of Life Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Northside Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Northside Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tree of Life Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .448. It's a different story for Northside Christian, though, as they've only averaged .309. Will they be able to contain Tree of Life Christian's hitters?
Tree of Life Christian took their victory against Northside Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-4 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
