Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Wednesday. St. Mary's Academy were the clear victor by a 23-9 margin over Kennedy. The result was nothing new for St. Mary's Academy, who have now won four matchups by 14 runs or more so far this season.

St. Mary's Academy got a massive performance out of Samia Siddiq, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Siddiq is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Carin Marshall was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
