After a dominant win in their matchup last Thursday, Goleman were humbled on Friday. They and Reagan were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 20-21 defeat. If Goleman were expecting to get some payback for the 0-7 defeat against Reagan the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Goleman's record to 2-1. The victory bumped Reagan's record up to 1-3.
Goleman will stay at home next week against South Miami at 4:00 PM. Reagan will look to defend their home turf against Doral Academy at 7:00 PM. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
