Baseball Recap: Columbia Central Has No Trouble Against Addison

Columbia Central won the last time they faced Addison and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Conor Rentfrow made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Rentfrow was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Noah Dankert was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Columbia Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Addison only posted a batting average of .091.

Columbia Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Addison, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
