Twin Falls is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Elko. Twin Falls fell just short of Elko by a score of 10-9. The Bruins' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Twin Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hadley Fowler, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Kaitlyn Hudson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Twin Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Elko, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Twin Falls will take on La Grande in a tournament on Saturday. La Grande will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Twin Falls surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elko, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lewiston at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Elko is facing Lewiston at the right time seeing as Lewiston is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
