Rowe won the last time they faced Vela and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Sabercats by a score of 6-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Zavier Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, JC Garza Jr. was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Guerrero, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Rowe's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Vela, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.

Rowe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial on the 22nd. As for Vela, they have also already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest on the 22nd.
