Zanesville has struggled against Granville recently, as their match on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Zanesville got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Lakeyah Butcher and
Ta'myah Taylor, who each put up six points.
Mariah Churchill took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Zanesville's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Granville, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zanesville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Utica at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Utica is ranked 448th, while Zanesville is ranked 450th). As for Granville, they will head out on the road to face off against Johnstown-Monroe at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
