The Osmond/Randolph Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Homer. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Osmond/Randolph has suffered since December 30, 2023.
Kaleigh Miller and Tessa Gardner certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Miller scored six points along with nine rebounds, while Gardner scored six points.
Homer was led to victory by Jocelyn Hightree and Alexandra Albrecht. Hightree scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Albrecht scored 17 points along with three steals. Hightree is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Tori Walker was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six steals and five assists.
Osmond/Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Homer, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Osmond/Randolph will be playing at home against Wausa at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Homer, they will square off against Tri County Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri County Northeast is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
