Rich Hill/Hume couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-41 punch to the gut against Lincoln last Friday.
Meanwhile, Lockwood/Golden City suffered a grim 12-36 defeat to Pierce City last week.
