Connersville had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Shenandoah Raiders. The Spartans were shut out  3-0 the last time they took on the Raiders, so the Spartans were just returning the favor.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Connersville took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7,  25-14.
 Kendyl Bottomley paced Connersville's offense, picking up nine kills. Bottomley got some help from  Keagan Ritter and her 26 assists. Ritter was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Connersville's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Shenandoah,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 12-14.
 Coincidentally, Connersville and Shenandoah will both be playing Greenwood Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Raiders will  host the Cougars at 11:15  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 1:30  p.m.
