The Bonanza Bengals had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Eldorado out 38-35. That's another feather in the cap for Bonanza, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Eldorado lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Ty'Teaira Foreman. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foreman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Torrico Lopez, who scored eight points.
Bonanza's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Eldorado, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonanza will square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Somerset Academy Losee will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. As for Eldorado, they will head out on the road to challenge the Archers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Amplus Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last 12 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
