The Fairview Knights fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Fossil Ridge 55-28 on the road. The result was nothing new for Fairview, who have now won four matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
Fairview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bekkem Kritza, who threw for 358 yards and five touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jordan Rechel did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 54 receiving yards.
Fairview's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Ryder Villarreal and his two sacks.
Several Sabercats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake Toshcoff, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Marcus Mozer also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Fossil Ridge, their win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-5.
Fairview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fossil Ridge is also done with their season.
