Southern Fulton took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-28 win over Northern Bedford County. That 57-28 margin sets a new team best for Southern Fulton this season.
It was another big night for Ethan Mellott, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Hunter Ward was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Northern Bedford County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caden Troy, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds, and Wesley Horsh who scored six points. Troy also grabbed two steals for the first time this season.
Southern Fulton pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Northern Bedford County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Southern Fulton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Claysburg-Kimmel at 4:45 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Claysburg-Kimmel focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Wednesday. Northern Bedford County will be home for the holidays to greet Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
