Ewing is 1-0 against Trenton Central since October of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Ewing Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Trenton Central Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ewing and five for Trenton Central.
Ewing fell victim to Robbinsville's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 34-0 loss at the hands of the Ravens. Ewing was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Meanwhile, Trenton Central also never made a goal in their most recent game. They were outmatched by Eastern at home and fell 40-0.
Ewing has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Trenton Central, their defeat was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-6.
Ewing strolled past Trenton Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 by a score of 31-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ewing since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
