Spaulding looks to establish their home field advantage on Saturday as they take on U-32 at 6:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win.
After having lost a blowout to Bellows Falls in their previous matchup, Spaulding were happy to find some success last week. Spaulding put the hurt on Oxbow with a sharp 32-0 victory. Spaulding were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 16-62, which was the final score in U-32's tilt against Burr & Burton. U-32 were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-48.
Spaulding's win lifted them to 1-1 while U-32's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Spaulding's success rolls on or if U-32 are able to steal their positive momentum.
