The Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors lost against the Westwood Christian Warriors back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hart 2 Hart Academy took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Hart 2 Hart Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hart 2 Hart Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Bliffin, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Lorenzon Andrews was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
It was another big night for Tripp Kirkland, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four blocks for Westwood Christian. Kirkland has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Thomas, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Hart 2 Hart Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Westwood Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northside Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Hart 2 Hart Academy will host the at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
