The Altamont Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season. They took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 63-35 win over Central A & M. The win was familiar territory for Altamont who now have four in a row.
Altamont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaidyn Miller, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Miller has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Miller, who scored 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Altamont has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Central A & M, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altamont will take on Hillsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsboro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 549th, while Altamont is ranked 171st). As for Central A & M, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Warrensburg-Latham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
