After a string of three wins, the Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 72-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Habersham School. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aidan Massey, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, and RJ Legette who scored 16 points along with seven assists and four steals. Legette has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Massey, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
The Habersham School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ike Barry led the charge by scoring 15 points. That's the first time this season that Barry scored 15 or more points. Sam Peterson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy bumped their record down to 11-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for The Habersham School, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Heritage Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
