The North Huron Warriors entered their tilt with the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. North Huron walked away with a 54-41 win over Carsonville-Port Sanilac on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for North Huron, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
North Huron got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wyatt Hoody out in front who scored 17 points along with four steals. Hoody is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Hunter Krull was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
North Huron pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Huron will face off against All Saints Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. All Saints Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Huron in Michigan (All Saints Central is ranked 122nd, while North Huron is ranked 428th). As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they will head out on the road to face off against Deckerville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
