After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tawas Area, Gladwin was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Shepherd Bluejays. This was payback for Gladwin, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Gladwin back to even at 1-1. As for Shepherd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gladwin will venture away from home to face off against Ogemaw Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give Gladwin their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Shepherd, they will face off against Lakeview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
