Webster wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Central Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Yreka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-69 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Bernard's. While losing is never fun, the Miners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 850th, while the Crusaders are ranked 390th).
Yreka's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
