After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Raymond/South Bend, Ilwaco was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Chief Leschi Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Fishermen as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Ilwaco's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Chief Leschi, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
