The Millington Cardinals will head out to  square off against the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Millington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.

 In other batting news,  Ashlyn Bentoski was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with five  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Karlie Sherman was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 St. Mary's Prep couldn't beat South Lyon  on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Eaglets lost  11-4 to the Lions. The Eaglets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Millington's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for St. Mary's Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1.
