Riverton won the last time they faced Athens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Riverton Hawks claimed a resounding 66-34 victory over the Athens Warriors. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trevor Schilling, who posted five points. James Jones was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Riverton's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Athens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.

Looking ahead, Riverton will venture away from home to square off against New Berlin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Athens, they will host Illini Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Athens is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.
