Boys' Home was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grace Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.
Justin Hain continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grace Christian, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. Hain has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Cashion, who scored ten points along with six assists and two steals.
Boys' Home's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Grace Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Boys' Home won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Christian Heritage Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th. Christian Heritage Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. As for Grace Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Fishburne Military at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fishburne Military is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
