Ben Boman gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Tuesday. Centennial had no answer to Boman as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Boman has become a key player for Putnam: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 5-13 otherwise.
