The Mattoon Greenwave will head out on the road to face off against the Paris Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Last Tuesday, Mattoon was the victim of a tough 61-39 defeat at the hands of the Tornadoes.
Meanwhile, Paris really took it to the Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-21 win at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-4.
Mattoon's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Paris, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-11.
Mattoon ended up a good deal behind the Tigers in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, losing 60-46. Can Mattoon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
