Desert Edge (Goodyear, Ariz.) bested Agua Fria (Avondale, Ariz.) 55-16 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Scorpions led 42-6 at the half.
With the win Desert Edge extended its winning streak to 10 games. Desert Edge defeated Buckeye 63-14 last week.
Desert Edge's most effective player was Davalos. He kicked seven extra points.
The Goodyear school went into the matchup giving up only 17.6 points per game. The 16 points that the Owls ended with were well below their average of 24.4 coming into the game.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Scorpions came away with a 47-0 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Agua Fria, which notched a 48-6 victory over Youngker in its previous outing.
