Mt. Whitney got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micah Rodriguez out in front who threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Kysen Sing and his 88 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Mt. Whitney's victory.
When it comes to explaining why Monache lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ty Baxter. Despite the final result, he rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
