The College Park Cavaliers waltzed into Friday's matchup with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 48-40 victory over Memorial. Given College Park's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Memorial is ranked 782nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
College Park got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyson Forrest out in front who scored 16 points along with 6 assists. Forrest continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Dalyn Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

College Park is on the road again on Saturday and play against Fort Bend Marshall at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th. Fort Bend Marshall is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Memorial, they will face off against Fort Bend Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Fort Bend Austin's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
