The East Hill Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Laurel Hill 55-3. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for East Hill Christian in their matchups with Laurel Hill: they've now lost three in a row.
Laurel Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Arlana Williams out in front who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Henry, who scored 12 points.
East Hill Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-3. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.3 points per game. As for Laurel Hill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Hill Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. Laurel Hill is on the road again on Monday and play against Northview at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th.
