Greensboro Day School is 1-9 against Wesleyan Christian Academy since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Greensboro Day School Bengals will challenge the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans at 5:30  p.m. Greensboro Day School will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Greensboro Day School's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  6-0 margin over Caldwell Academy. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won five contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.

 Trevor Waters was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Four bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  stolen bases.
 In other pitching news,  Mason Grady looked comfortable as he  struck out seven batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 Back at the plate, Greensboro Day School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Oliver Fisher, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.  Nick Salas also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Meanwhile, Wesleyan Christian Academy started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Covenant Day. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of  4-3 on Tuesday.
 Greensboro Day School's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
Wesleyan Christian Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Greensboro Day School has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .469. It's a different story for Wesleyan Christian Academy, though, as  they've  only  averaged .356. Will they be able to contain Greensboro Day School's hitters?
 Greensboro Day School came up short against Wesleyan Christian Academy when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, falling  12-7. Can Greensboro Day School avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
