On Monday, Malcolm made easy work of Wahoo/Bishop Neumann and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Clippers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Garrett England, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brixon Meyer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Malcolm kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Raymond Central fell victim to Falls City and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Raymond Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Den Hartog, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Den Hartog is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Malcolm's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Raymond Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
Raymond Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Malcolm has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Raymond Central, though, as they've been averaging 9.8 hits. Given Malcolm's sizable advantage in that area, the Mustangs will need to find a way to close that gap.
Malcolm took their win against Raymond Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Clippers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
