On Friday, The Lone Peak Knights faced the Mountain Ridge Sentinels in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lone Peak came out on top against Mountain Ridge by a score of 14-3. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lone Peak.
Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Mountain Ridge, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.
Lone Peak will head out on the road to face off against Corner Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Corner Canyon will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Mountain Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
