While Raegan Burgenstock delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for General Brown. Despite the defeat, Burgenstock was still locked in as she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Burgenstock and General Brown will square off against Sandy Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Burgenstock's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lions' three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Burgenstock and the Lions surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
