The Lowndes Vikings put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 69-37 victory over Brunswick at home. Lowndes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five contests by 23 points or more this season.
Lowndes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimora Wade out in front who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aryana Thomas, who scored 11 points.
Reagan Hicks and Jermiyah Ramsey certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hicks dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Ramsey scored 5 points along with 7 steals. The match was Hicks' third in a row with at least ten points.
Lowndes pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Lowndes will be playing in front of their home fans against Bainbridge at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th. Bainbridge is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Brunswick's road trip will continue as they head out to face Richmond Hill at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
