Daleville hasn't had much luck against Shenandoah recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Broncos will head out to face off against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Daleville is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
On Saturday, Daleville made easy work of Tri-Central and carried off a 13-3 victory. Considering the Broncos have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Raegan Jackson was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Lily Malone was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.
Daleville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .583 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Shenandoah ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Tri 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.
Olivia Watson spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gabrielle Patrick, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run.
Daleville's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Shenandoah, their record now sits at 7-2.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Daleville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .370. However, it's not like Shenandoah struggles in that department as they've averaged .366. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Daleville might still be hurting after the 17-6 defeat they got from Shenandoah when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Broncos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
